Tour Greens Michigan is Operated by Midwest Synthetic Turf
After operating independently over the past several years, Matt Morman, Connor Sweeney and Mark Pflaumer joined forces in January of 2018 to create Midwest Synthetic Turf. The three synthetic turf gurus are now co-owners and operators of Tour Greens Ohio, Tour Greens Michigan and Tour Greens Western NY.
Connor Sweeney - Tour Greens Michigan
Connor started Tour Greens Michigan in 2016, adding it to his Great Shot Golf business. Connor brings 10+ years of golf industry knowledge and a strong love for the game to the Tour Greens team. Connor’s Michigan team has been involved in a variety of turf projects, including the Grand River Public Park in downtown Detroit. Connor lives in the Grand Rapids area with his wife, Staci and their kids Carson (7) and Jace (1).
Matt Morman - Tour Greens Ohio
Matt jumped into the synthetic turf business in 2013 after a 10 year career as a club professional and active member of the PGA of America. His club professional resume includes Scioto Country Club, Shooting Star (Jackson Hole, WY) and Jim McLean Golf School. Matt is currently the VP of Operations for Tour Greens Corporate, overseeing the national dealer network and business development. With involvement in over 250 synthetic turf projects, Matt has combined golf instruction experience and high-end service background with his turf experience to help build the Tour Greens brand. Matt enjoys spending time with his wife Michele and his dogs, Mac and Fletch.
Mark Pflaumer - Tour Greens Western New York
Mark founded Tour Greens Western NY in 2014 and has steadily grown the business in his region. Mark has installed over 100 projects in the past four years and truly enjoys creating beautiful greens from the ground up. Mark is also the founder and owner of Plum Creek Driving Range in Batavia, which includes and indoor golf simulator and three Tour Greens short game greens. Mark and his wife, Loren live in Elba, NY and have four children – Jackie, Jesse, Ben and Henry. The three boys are active in the synthetic turf and driving range business, and are excellent golfers in their own right.
